YES! Definitely worth it. I am 39 and last year started using NuFace, which I liked a lot but it was so inconvenient to wash my face, use the gel during the treatment, and then wash it all off again before doing the rest of my routine. I eventually stopped using it. I saw Solawave on insta and finally caved about a month ago. Though the microcurrent isn't as strong as NuFace, I definitely like the Solawave better. First, I can use it with my serums as part of my routine, instead of as an extra step, so its much more convenient. Second, I can tell a noticeable difference in wrinkles (better than nuFace), tightness, puffiness, and some dark spots after 3 weeks of using it. Doesn't do much for jowls, but it does help. I love that it has red light and vibration in addition to the micro current, so it has more benefits than NuFace. Definitely my favorite quarantine purchase, and bc it works so well, it motivates me to keep up the rest of my skincare too. I hope that helps!!

I have :) I have been using at almost every day since getting it as a bday gift last month. Im skeptical of most new beauty products but I really think this thing is the real deal. I am obsessed with how it feels on the skin (much more soothing than my NuFace). Getting a lot of compliments on my skin from my boo and I notice some reduction in my crow’s feet and dark circles. anxious to see if this truly helps with acne scarring but a lot of the research I read on RLT leads me to believe it should help but it’ll just take a much longer time to see results

Love this little tool :) been using for a few weeks. My boyfriend’s didn’t turn on immediately but I realized it’s because you need to use some hydrating serum, moisturizer, or gel.. once I put that on his face it worked fine. We both share one and love it. It’s kind of crazy how soon it showed results .... wasn’t expecting much tbh

Got this as a gift for my mom and she loves it! Initially found out about it through FB and saw [this article ](https://www.therapeuticbeams.com/red-light-therapy-reviews/solawave-wand) - which does a pretty good job explaining what the solawave wand does and it’s pros/cons. Plus, there’s a 10% off discount code inside so saved a little :)

Old thread I know, but for the people who have used it, does I help with broken capillaries / spider veins?

I’ve been using it for a few days and now it won’t shut off unless I plug it in. Looks like I’m going to have to get it replaced by the comments in here. Hopefully not more than once. So far I really love how nice the warmth and vibration feel, especially under the eyes. I’m skeptical it can do much but I also haven’t had it very long. I do like how dewy it makes your skin feel in conjunction with a good serum. I like Earth Science hyaluronic serum. 😄

I just got my Solawave in the mail and kinda nervous after reading this thread, lol. Question, did y'all purchase the protection plan? Or did they replace it even without one?

I’ve been using it for a few days. I’m skeptical about it and yet I really enjoy using it. The warmth and vibration are really soothing, especially under the eyes. Much more pleasant to use than the NuFace. But now it won’t shut off unless I plug it in. I may have to get it replaced. I use it with Earth Science Hyaluronic serum and it really does seem to “pack” it into my skin and make it nice and dewy.

The replacement they just sent me is malfunctioning the same way as the original. They won’t turn off without me plugging them in. I’m thinking I may just want a refund at this point. This seems like a cheap piece of junk made in China and I can’t really tell if it does anything useful. It’s pleasant and fun to use but it’s really inconclusive to me as to whether does anything beneficial. Seems with maybe $40, not $140 😫

I bought it maybe 7 weeks ago and have been loving it so far, mainly seeing a difference with forehead wrinkles and dark circles. I don’t think the vibration is as strong as a vibrating jade roller I used to use but it seems like the light therapy and microcurrent are making a major difference. It says not to use oil with it so I apply my favorite oil after using it.

I've had mine for about three months, and it worked just fine for the two months, then it stopped vibrating, and the amount of time it works per charge has varied quite a bit from the start. Sometimes I charge it and I get twenty minutes, sometimes I only get ten minutes. Then sometimes, after it quits, I'll set it aside for hours, go to charge it, and the light comes on. As far as results, I'm 58, with more sagging than wrinkles. The biggest change has been on either side of my nose. The deep divets are gone, so that's good, and also on either side of my mouth the divets have shortened, but other than that, no difference in overall skin quality, and zero difference in fine lines anywhere on my face. I'd say this is good for plumping, but other than that, not working as advertised, and since it stopped vibrating, it's malfunctioning. I may try to get a refund.

Hi, i received the solawave wand and used it 3 times. Loved the result. But then the wand started to go on and off while gliding on my face. I have been using only the recommended [gel.is](https://gel.is) there any throubleshooting advice.?

Blue light has worked a little bit for smaller sized acne, but nothing very deep. Light therapy also works best held over an area for a good amount of time, so the wand passing over it briefly probably won't be too significant.

I bought it through that deal and I definitely don't think it's helping with my acne but it DOES feel nice on my skin and helps my products sink in better. I got it through the allure deal as well and am liking it so far but am very skeptical about the light therapy aspect since light therapy masks are supposed to be kept on your face for much more time and are stronger. Solawave actually has a reddit account if you want to PM them with questions!

Blue light works great for acne! Alternatively, the Red Light Wand has great results for inflammation, uneven skin tone and texture, and wrinkles! Let us know if you have any other questions!
